Fabinho

The biggest compliment you can give Fabinho is that Liverpool have looked so much shakier when he hasn’t been in the side. Adam Lallana was given that job against Aston Villa and it just wasn’t the same, bless him.

But Fab was sacrificed for the greater good and will now be available to face Manchester City in the first of two title defining games. That alone shows how influential the defensive midfielder has been for the Reds.

When considering rotation options, Fabinho has been the last one to sit out. He’s been in the middle of all sorts of combinations ranging from Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum.

But no matter who he’s paired with, the Brazilian always goes about his role without fuss, without celebrity but with great effectiveness.
