Three players who smashed it in October
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Is the rehabilitation of Oxlade-Chamberlain complete? We don’t want to count our chickens before they hatch but three goals in two starts seems to indicate that it’s well on its way.
The nature of those strikes were so exciting too. All of them from outside the box, all of them showed incredible pieces of skill and technique that seem to be lacking from the midfield three these days.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was making a difference to the side before he went down with his knee injury and the worry was he wouldn’t be the same player again – the Genk and Arsenal performances prove otherwise.
With the Ox coming back to full speed, there are a few in the Liverpool squad who will be looking over their shoulder because Klopp will find it very hard to ignore.
City are up next and Oxlade-Chamberlain loves playing against them. With Fabinho back in the side as a defensive anchor, surely the gaffer will be tempted to give the Ox another go.
