Liverpool are camped in Pep Guardiola’s head and the latest claim from Nedum Onuoha shows just how embedded we are in the Spaniard’s bonce.

Goal have reported that Onuoha thinks Guardiola will stick around with the sole purpose of getting the best of Jurgen Klopp. Rent free.

Pep’s deal is due to expire in 2021 and past history suggests that he will take a break at the end of next season, but the former City defender doesn’t think this will be the case.

"He said: “I don’t think Pep will be happy to leave England and not be able to have that record or prove that he can be as good or even better than that Liverpool team next year. So I think he will stay.”"

Liverpool have blown City out of the water this season. We are 16 points clear of last season’s champs with ONE GAME in hand and have only conceded 15 goals as opposed to their 27.

Not only that, but last season’s Champions League crown is something City have been searching for since they came into their new riches. If it’s a form of establishing themselves among the ‘old school’ elite, Guardiola has failed to transition the club from an upstart to an established member of the clique.

We’ve become an obsession for the Spaniard. An when a mind such as his picks up one, he won’t rest up he delivers on what we wants.

Liverpool and Klopp always seem to have a complicated relationship. The tricky moments he’s had to wade through as City gaffer seem to come against the Reds. There was that TWICE moment at Anfield as he watched his side’s title hopes slip away and a Champions League loss as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain inspired the side.

And so you can be sure that we’re camped deep inside Pep Guardiola’s head and nothing will change how good that feels.
