Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson

The one change which Klopp could make in the backline would be star Joel Matip ahead of Joe Gomez. The 22-year-old has done pretty well lately but given the opposition they are up against, there’s a chance the Cameroonian could get a start.

Matip did pretty well for Liverpool before getting injured so he will be expected to do well if Klopp starts him. However, for now, I’m going for Gomez to be in the lineup alongside Virgil van Dijk.

Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold will be starting at left-back and right-back respectively and will be looking to put up a much better performance than they did against Atletico Madrid.

West Ham’s attack hasn’t been very good so it seems very likely that Liverpool will keep a clean sheet. They’ve scored 30 goals this season and have a decent unit on paper, but lack of form and injuries have taken their toll on the side.

Robertson and Alexander-Arnold have been playing well this season but didn’t have a good one in Spain and they’ll be keen to get back to assisting, barn storming ways at Anfield.
