An Adam Lallana replacement has refused to deny transfer rumours linking him with a move to Livepool when the window opens.
The former Southampton man is set to leave Liverpool on a free when his contract expires and he’ll not be short of suitors, but Micheal Edwards and Jurgen Klopp haven’t been lazy and are trying to get their ducks in a row.
That means scouting missions to try and find Adam Lallana’s replacement from across Europe. One target is so happy with the links that he’s refused to deny them when ask by media back in his home country.
With 178 appearances since he signed from Liverpool, the playmaker was an important part of those early Klopp sides. But injury and progression have limited his influence and his time at Anfield will draw to a close.
Takumi Minamino could probably do a job in the Adam Lallana role, but it appears as if the Japense international is more likely to feature across the front three – and has been trailed as a false nine when he’s been handed a chance.
Curtis Jones is another one and he’ll feature more next season, whenever that comes around and whatever that looks like, but the Scouse is young and inexperienced and Klopp may not want to put too much pressure on his shoulders straight away.
So that brings us to the interest in Milot Rashica. Albanian publication Koha reported that he agent confirmed the Kosovo international will leave German side Werder Bremen in the summer.
With 17 goals and nine assists in 55 appearances in the Bundesliga, the playmaker has gained a reputation and now wants to test himself in the Champions League.
A whole host of clubs have been linked with Milot Rashica, but his agent didn’t deny that he’d be interested in a move to Liverpool.
