Liverpool play Crystal Palace on Wednesday. This is the predicted team.

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson should be fit to take part in the game. This comes after they missed out against Everton, and the team suffered as a result.

Their addition should provide additional defensive solidity as well as something extra going forward. Liverpool started Takumi Minamino in the forward line last weekend, but that experiment only lasted 45 minutes.

Despite being hauled off at half-time, Klopp still maintains Minamino did well – he merely wanted to make the most of the new substitutes rules.

"Alex Richards at the Mirror wrote that the manager said: “Taki was in the game. At the beginning it was a bit difficult but then he was in the game. “The change at half-time was a pure idea from me. It had nothing to do with Taki’s performance in the first half.”"

Palace made a good restart to their Premier League campaign, beating Bournemouth 2-0. Wilfried Zaha had an excellent game and he’ll be a key part of Roy Hodgson’s attacking plans. The Ivory Coast forward can change things in a blink of an eye and Virgil van Dijk will have to maintain concentration for the full 90 minutes.

A win on Wednesday will mean Liverpool can wrap the title up against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. After Goodison Park, winning in front of Pep Guardiola would be sweet indeed and it’ll help smooth over the difficult watching that was the Merseyside derby.

James Milner and Joel Matip won’t take part in this game, so that means the starting side will probably return to something similar to our pre-lockdown units.

So let’s get stuck into it.

Alisson

Not much to say here really, Alisson proved how good he is with that brilliant reflex save against Dominic Calvert-Lewin and generally had a very solid game against Everton.
