Liverpool star Sadio Mane is going viral.

Sadio Mane scored the first goal of the game as Liverpool beat Aston Villa 2-0, and then watched as youngster Curtis Jones grabbed his debut Premier League strike.

The result leaves Villa dangerously close to being relegated, which makes Mane very sad.

Liverpool’s forward completely alpha’d the midlands side when he said that he didn’t want them to be relegated.

His reasoning? Because he always scored against Villa!

With six goals in six appearances against Dean Smith’s side, you can’t really blame the Senegal international for wanting his lucky charm to stay in the Premier League.

After 20 goals in 42 games across all competitions, there aren’t many teams who Mane hasn’t scored against.

The manner in which he’s improved since joining Liverpool from Southampton is incredible and Jurgen Klopp has a special player on his hands.

Jamie Vardy is currently leading the pack with 21, while former Red Danny Ings has 18 following his phenomenal campaign with the Saints.

Liverpool have five games left this season and you can be sure that Mane will firing on all guns blazing. It might take some special run of form to overtake Vardy, but while his eyes are on the prize that sort of upset is always on the cards.

Aston Villa are one point away from relegation safety, but they play Manchester United and Arsenal in their last five games.
