Here are the Liverpool player ratings from the Chelsea win.

Jurgen Klopp’s side banished their Blue demons in a thrilling end to their Anfield campaign.

Liverpool led 3-0 before finally beating Frank Lampard’s team 5-3 in a brilliant display of attacking football.

Goals from Naby Keita, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Gini Wijnaldum, Roberto Firmino and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seal the deal for Klopp, but not before Olivier Giroud, Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic gave the Reds a scare.

Pulisic, in particular, was highly impressive and his second-half introduction nearly swung the game in Chelsea’s favour. The way he beat three Liverpool players to set up Abraham’s goal was reminiscent of Eden Hazard in his pomp, while the American took his goal very well.

Despite some slack defending from the Reds, Klopp will be pleased that they managed to lift the Premier League trophy after beating one of their fiercest rivals – while the performance of most of the side was extremely encouraging.

Firmino finally grabbed that home goal in his final game at Anfield to ensure he didn’t go the entire season without scoring on Merseyside, on the red half anyway, as he pounced on a perfect Alexander-Arnold cross.

Alexander-Arnold’s confidence would have been high following his free-kick. The right-back is an expert in dead ball situations and his goal was remarkably similar to the one he scored against Crystal Palace at home.

Oxlade-Chamberlain and Keita both found the back of the net, although it was the latter who was picked to start and the latter who convinced more thoroughly. If we can see this Naby next season, it’ll be a huge bonus to the side.

Alisson didn’t have much to do, except pick the ball out of his own net, so let’s kick off the Liverpool player ratings there.

Ali didn’t do much and then he conceded three times. The stopper made a brilliant save against Willian for the first goal, but Giroud reacted quicker than Andy Robertson and stuck it in the net.

There was nothing the Brazilian could have done about it, nor could he have kept out Abraham or Pulisic’s efforts.
