‘It could be his last game’ Will we see Diego Carlos at Liverpool?
Will Diego Carlos complete his Liverpool move soon?
Sevilla are due to play Inter Milan in the final of the Europa League, and Spanish football expert Colin Miller has said it could be his last game for the club.
Miller, who literally wrote the book on Sevilla, was talking to the Totally Football Show as he previewed the clash.
He mentioned the break up of this side, who could lose several key players following the conclusion of their Europa League campaign.
"Miller said: “It’s probably going to be the last game for a number of players.“Diego Carlos is another one with his future up in the air, (as is) Lucas Ocampos. It could be the last game for a number of these players and they’ll want to give it one big sign off.”"
Sergio Reguilón will go back to Real Madrid following the conclusion of his loan spell, Éver Banega is leaving on a free transfer and Simon Kjaer has already agreed a deal to join AC Milan.
Diego Carlos has been extensively linked with a move to Liverpool after impressing in La Liga since his move across from France.
The 27-year-old has previously been described as ‘one of the best defenders’ in the Spanish top flight and been tipped to move for a massive fee, which could put the Reds out of the running for his signature.

Again, it was Miller talking about the impact the Brazilian has had.
"He said: “(He) has been, arguably, the stand out central defender in La Liga, alongside Sergio Ramos.“He’s a rock, he’s so consistent. I think he could go for big, big money.”"
Carlos has only been at Sevilla for a season after joining from Nantes last summer. They paid just £13.50 million for him, and stand to rake in a huge profit.
Football.London reported that he’s got a £68 million release clause in his contract, but a fee of £54.5 million would be enough to snag him.
Liverpool do need a fourth central defender, despite the speculation that Fabinho or Marko Grujic could be deployed as an auxiliary in the case of emergency.
Fabinho has played there before, and that would save sporting director Michael Edwards a pretty penny – while it could provide Serbian midfielder Grujic a fresh chance of life at Liverpool.
Should this team push the boat out and sign Carlos, the man who has been tipped to leave Sevilla this summer by a man who knows more than most?
