Liverpool lineup vs Chelsea: Joe Gomez in, Naby Keita out
Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson
Trent Alexander-Arnold will undoubtedly start at right-back and will be eager to be efficient for his team defensively and offensively. The England international had a more or less disappointing outing against Leeds but we could well see him do better on Sunday.
Andy Robertson was easily Liverpool’s best defender last week and he’ll be eager to produce another strong performance against Chelsea.
Virgil van Dijk scored an important goal against Leeds but was also to blame for the one that his team conceded soon after. The Dutchman has been a little error prone of late and he’ll be hoping to avoid such concentration lapses this weekend.
Joe Gomez will most likely partner Van Dijk in the heart of defence but it won’t be much of a surprise if Klopp prefers Joel Matip over the England international.
