Liverpool player ratings: Forwards

Mohamed Salah (8/10) Grabbed his goal and was generally a very busy threat. His pace and strength is always going to give defenders nightmares, and the King more than played his part in this massive scoreline.

He also assisted Mane for his goal. What was that about these two not being able to play against each other?

Diogo Jota (10/10) Amazing. Undroppable. God. Jota has now scored four goals in a row and gave Liverpool some serious cutting edge in an area where they’ve lacked it. But he provides more than that and can carry out Firmino’s energetic role with ease.

Jota is so determined. Where does Klopp go from here?

Sadio Mane (8/10) Another really good performance from Mane as he scored and grabbed an assist. This was a really fun night for the whole of the front three and will give them real confidence to take into the Manchester City game.
