RW – Xherdan Shaqiri

Without Salah in the squad, Klopp is going to have to do something a little different. One of the good things about the injury crisis, if we can phrase it that way, is that it’ll give fringe players a chance in the side.

When Salah is fit, Shaqiri is going to find chances hard to come by. Despite his excellent this season, the Swiss international is still a squad player – but against Leicester he’ll come in and play a role on the right of attack in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

His range of passing is excellent, while Shaq’s dribbling and low centre of gravity will be enough to give any defence a few issues.

AM – Roberto Firmino

This role will see Firmino drop down into more of a no. 10 position. The Brazilian seems to have left his shooting boots at home, but his link up play is still important and in this formation we can really see that come to the fore.

Combining with Shaq, Jota and Mane will provide plenty of options for the Liverpool attack while bamboozling Brendan’s brave boys in blue.

CF – Diogo Jota

Jota is the versatile forward that Liverpool have been crying out for and he’ll start on Sunday playing through the middle. The Portugal international has looked clinical when chances have presented themselves and he’s in the middle of a lucrative purple patch.

He’ll be the man to lead the line for the boys in Red.

LW – Sadio Mane

Mane scored during the international break and he’ll want to use this game to make up ground on his favourite rival for the Golden Boot – Mo Salah. With the inexperienced James Justin operating at right-back, Mane can have some joy down the flanks on Sunday.
