CM – Thiago

The Spanish international has managed to avoid any further injuries and Klopp will hope that it remains that way as his presence in midfield is needed now more than ever.

Thiago will start and will be expected to impress on the field through his passing. The 29-year-old has also shown his tenacious side through his tackling but he’ll have to careful not to get sent off.

CM – Georginio Wijnaldum

The Dutchman netted his third goal of the season against West Ham and will undoubtedly make his 31st appearance of 20/21 on Wednesday.

Wijnaldum has been in decent form for Liverpool and will be keen on aiding his team well defensively and offensively against the Hammers.

CM – James Milner

Despite being 35, the former England international worked tirelessly against West Ham and his reaction following his substitution is enough to show he wanted to play on.

Milner will most likely make his fourth successive start against Brighton and will be eager to put in a strong performance from the middle of the park.

However, there’s a fair chance of Klopp resting him and starting Curtis Jones instead.

AM – Xherdan Shaqiri

The Swiss international had a good game against the Hammers, with his last piece of action being the assist for Liverpool’s second goal which capped off a brilliant counter-attack.

There’s a fair chance of Klopp not starting Sadio Mane as a precautionary measure and going for a 4-3-1-2 on Thursday. Hence, Shaqiri will start as their No.10 and will be expected to create chances for his teammates.
