RW – Mohamed Salah

The Egyptian international has been in fine form this season, netting 21 goals in 31 matches so far. Salah opened the scoring against City in the away leg and will be eager to add to his goal tally on Sunday.

So far, the 28-year-old has scored thrice against Guardiola’s team. Sunday would certainly be a fine and much-needed occasion for Salah to find the net against City.

CF – Roberto Firmino

The Brazilian forward will undoubtedly start this weekend and will be looking to provide scoring opportunities for his teammates while trying to find the net himself .

Out of the front three, Firmino has scored the most number of goals against City with four so far. Hence, Sunday would be a very suitable and key occasion for him to find the net versus Guardiola’s side.

LW – Sadio Manè

After grabbing a goal and an assist against Tottenham, the Senegalese star missed Liverpool’s next two matches with an injury.

However, Manè is back in training and there’s a fair chance of him starting on Sunday or at least Klopp will hope so.

The 28-year-old was badly missed against Brighton and he’ll be eager to put in a solid performance against City. Manè scored a header the last time both sides met at Anfield and will be eager to increase his season’s tally which is only ten so far.
