Liverpool striker is set to become Inter Milan’s top summer target
Liverpool is contemplating a star-studded summer transfer window, being interested in a number of players to bring to Anfield for next season, in light of the growing necessity for a total makeover of the team following the disastrous season that has been going.
The team has made news for probable interest in players such as N’Golo Kante, Matheus Nunes, and Ruben Neves. Not to mention Liverpool’s fixation with Jude Bellingham, who is their main target.
It will be necessary to remove a certain number of players in order to make room for the anticipated influx of new players. Ten or so players, according to rumours, may leave Liverpool this summer.
Finding suitors for those who need to be offloaded will take just as much work as signing big stars. As of present, there appears to be little possible interest from other teams in these players, with the exception of one who has grabbed the eye of an Italian club and is positioned to be their top target.
Inter Milan is pursuing a Liverpool player who is likely to become a free agent
If we are to trust the statements made by the Italian publication Gazzetta Dello Sport through FCInterNews, Inter Milan is considering their options with regard to Romelu Lukaku, whose one-year contract with the Nerazzurri from Chelsea expires this summer.
If Inter ultimately decides not to extend the Belgian forward, Roberto Firmino of Liverpool will be their top choice for a replacement.
The Italian club is prepared to speak with Chelsea over Lukaku’s future. The athlete has stated openly that he does not want to return to London since he is happy at Inter.
However, injuries have limited his play this season, and he has failed to provide compelling grounds for Inter to extend his loan stint. But, then again, nothing has been determined as of yet.

Back at Anfield, Fabrizio Romano said that the club has already offered Firmino a short-term deal, and the player wants to stay. But if due to any reason a deal cannot be struck, the player will become a free agent and Inter will make him a major target given that Lukaku is sent back home.
