Liverpool need to sign players in the summer. That’s as big of a fact as you would hear these days. They can’t do without signings. Let me rephrase: They can’t do without big signings. It doesn’t matter how much money they have to spend as long as they are able to get the right players that fit the system and make the team much, much better than they currently are.

They currently have to start a partial rebuild of sorts. They don’t need players in every single position. But they do need a few players in a couple of positions quite badly.

They need midfield reinforcements, multiple, and they could do with a great centre-back to join the team next summer.

We have been talking about Jude Bellingham as Liverpool’s biggest target for the summer transfer window, and everyone in and around the club knows that his price will be north of 100 million, and I guess that in a market where Antony is 80 million, Bellingham is worth at least 100.

Well, according to a report from Giannis Chorianopoulos, Liverpool will need, at the very least, 200 million euros to be able to sign both Jude Bellingham and their reported primary defensive target, Gvardiol next summer.

That’s a lot of money, I won’t lie to you, but would you rather spend that much on four not-as-good players than sign these two potential world-beaters? I mean, if the money is there, which, well, it is, then I would really rather spend it on these two players.

Gvardiol and Bellingham take this team to unbelievable heights, and they are the biggest talents in football right now, so it makes sense for Liverpool to go all in.

Of course, these players are still not completing the partial rebuild that they supposedly want, but they’ll set the two main pieces in with these transfers, and build around them by signing lesser-known but talented players to complete the squad. That’s how it should be.
