Liverpool is on the lookout for a midfielder to bolster the team’s quality. There is Jude Bellingham, who is Jurgen Klopp’s top target, while others such as N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount, and Matheus Nunes are also being pursued.

The club is studying every facet of the transfer decision. They’ve identified potential backup targets in case the Bellingham move falls through. The Reds are interested in practically every midfielder who is set to depart during the summer.

Liverpool is reportedly interested in a big shot from the Bundesliga who has created a name for himself with the German heavyweights Bayern Munich.

Liverpool is keeping tabs on Bayern Munich midfielder

According to journalist Kenny Hau on the Die Bayern Woche podcast through Sport1, the Merseyside club is keeping a close eye on Bayern midfielder Ryan Gravenberch as part of their ongoing efforts to revitalize their ailing midfield.

Per the journalist, Liverpool may be expected to pursue two number eights, one in addition to the much awaited Jude Bellingham. The Reds are fully aware of their midfield depth difficulties and lack of choices, which is why the purchase of two players in the same position is not ruled out.

Hau continues to hint that those in positions of power in Liverpool are continuously evaluating Gravenberch’s status, but there is currently no tangible interest. The exact words follow:

"“His name has been mentioned more often by those responsible, (there is no concrete interest yet) but the situation is being examined and they have already contacted Gravenberch’s people to ask about him, what type of person he is."

Bayern, on the other hand, has no intention of letting up on the Dutch star. They feel that the ideal opportunity for him to acquire the deserved opportunities will come shortly. Nothing is planned for the time being, but Gravenberch will undoubtedly consider Liverpool’s interest if his status remains the same in light of next season.
