Liverpool could offer midfielder in a swap for Inter Milan big shot
Liverpool FC has some brilliant brains working hard to make the best of the circumstances. They have defined the goals and are examining all of the possible permutations and combinations.
The club is pursuing an infinite number of players as part of its much-touted rebuilding drive. The plan is to bring in new talent, particularly in the midfield, while letting go of outmoded players who are no longer needed or have outlived their usefulness and are a liability to the Reds.
Jürgen Klopp, the manager, has a few preferences to share. The German is a great fan of Italian big man Nicolo Barella, who has been linked to transfers to Liverpool on and off in previous transfer windows.
This time, the Reds are apparently hesitant to let go of the star who is said to be on the verge of departing Inter Milan due to the Nerazzurri’s financial woes. To get out of the hole, they’ll have to cash in on important players, and while Barella’s name hasn’t crossed the thoughts of Inter’s officials, he may be considered if a large offer comes in.
It has been reported that Inter would like to receive no less than about 75 to 80 million Euros for the 26 year old. Many clubs are interested in the player including Liverpool but the monetary aspect of it could be a problem.
According to InterLive, in response to that, the Merseyside club is said to be of the mind of thinking to offer Fabinho to Inter Milan as a part of a swap deal for Barella.
Fabinho’s contract with Liverpool doesn’t lapse until 2026 although the player is not counted upon for the future of the club. He has lost the quality he once possessed and is most probably on the market. Real Madrid was already reported to be a party interested to sign the Brazilian.
Now, the swap deal sounds ridiculous to be honest. There is absolutely no way Inter would settle for a non cash exchange of one of their most influential players for one who is not even preferred by his club anymore. Not to mention that the Nerazzurri’s prime reason, if it arises at all, to offload Barella would be to get cash to make good the financial situation.

In my opinion, this deal is not going to get through. There are way less chances of Inter even listening to a swap offer, let alone materialize it.
