Yes, we’re only on the doorstep of November but that does not mean behind the scenes transfer dealings have halted. Clubs are constantly trying to get out ahead of their rivals which means working deals between no and January.

Liverpool have been linked with a few familiar names among the swarm of rumors that never stop so in this piece we’re going to take a look and see where things stand. Let’s jump right in to the biggest three.

André Trindade (Fluminese) –The Brazilian midfielder was came very close to joining Liverpool this past summer but he wanted to stay committed to his club as they were playing through the prestigious Copa Libertadores.

As Fluminese have reached the Final his decision looks justified. However, he has begun speaking about a future move once the season finishes in Brazil.

He has now said he’s be open to a move in January and this could be good for Liverpool. There was no ill will between the clubs as they were close in their talks with a £34 million discussed.

This one could be very viable going forward.

Goncalo Inacio (Sporting CP) – The brilliantly talented left-footed Center-back would make for an incredible signing for Liverpool. I wanted them to strongly pursue him over the summer but alas, the club paid me no heed. Shocking, I know.

Yet, in recent days the club have seemingly ramped up there interest in the young Portuguese star and have increased their scouting efforts.

He is valued around £43 million which could prove to be an absolute bargain. However, Real Madrid and Manchester United also retain an interest so it won’t be smooth sailing. Get it done Reds.

Victor Osimhen (Napoli) – For a few days there the ideas that Liverpool saw Osimhen as an ideal Salah replacement was gaining steam. He’s a brilliant player that has some similar qualities to our Egyptian superstar and it would be a massive move.

However. the cost that Napoli would demand is something that cannot be overlooked. In addition, Osimhen has since come out to declare his happiness playing in Italy at the moment. I don’t see this one happening in January.
