With the season in its final stages, we can begin taking a larger view of what has transpired and what has not.
Regarding Liverpool, the soon to be Premier League trophy lifters at Anfield, there is still a bit of work to be done before we call it curtains on 2024/25. With that in mind, here are some things I want to see before the season ends.
Salah and the assist record
Mohamed Salah has been at his brilliant best this season, not just with an incredible goalscoring record but with his array of wonderful asissts.
The Egyptian is just two assists from equaling the league record and becoming just the second man to hit the 20/20 goals and assists plateau.

The only thing that has stood in his way of late have been his teammates missed chances.
Nunez heading a glaring chance wide against Chelsea before Luis Diaz somehow didn't find the net from 11 yards last time out against Arsenal to name a few.
Maiden goal(s)
Joe Gomez and the Anfield crowd have been desperate for him to finally find the net for Liverpool, having gone over 150 games without a goal.
Sadly he may be unfit to play any part in the final two games but there is another man without a goal for the Reds.

Kostas Tsimikas has had an excellent season but it's become increasingly likely he will be leaving Liverpool this summer.
The Greek full back also hasn't scored for the Reds and it would be an incredible way to bow out, should he break that duct before full time against Palace.
One more Virgil bullet header
Virgil van Dijk will be picking up his second Premier League trophy but this time will be even more special as his own hands will raise the title up first.
The skipper has had another imperious season and one last bullet header against Palace would round off a special day for the Dutchman.
Luis Diaz goal and assist
Colombian wide man Luis Diaz is in fine form, with another goal as he slid home against Arsenal at the weekend.

The winger has eighteen goal contributions in the league this season and just two more will give him a nice milestone of twenty for the season.
Considering he has had to play an awful lot of games in a more unnatural number nine position, twenty goals and assists would be an excellent return.
A start of a busy summer
Liverpool have earned the wild celebrations to come against Palace but fans will be keen to set their stall out early with the plans for next season.
Rumours are running wild with the impending transfer window opening and it looks like they may have an early boost this week.
Sources have heavily linked Jeremie Frimpong to become Slot's first summer signing, with his countryman in talks over a move rumoured to cost around £30m.
