Derby day is almost here for Liverpool, who face rivals Everton at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday.
The Reds are hanging on in the Champions League race, and they can now focus fully on the Premier League after their elimination from this season's edition of the Champions League during the week.
As things stand, Arne Slot's men are currently in fifth spot, three points behind each of Manchester United and Aston Villa, and they will feel as though they still have a solid chance of making the top four cut, even though fifth spot has become an additional Champions League place.
As for Everton, they are involved in a battle for Europe themselves, just goal difference behind seventh-placed Brentford as things stand, though eighth also has a chance of becoming a European spot.
Ahead of what will surely be another exciting Merseyside derby, we have rounded up the latest injury news surrounding both sides.

Grealish is out for the season with an ankle injury and, of course, will not be available here,.

In a crushing blow for Liverpool and the player, Ekitike is out until likely the end of this year after suffering an Achilles injury. A statement confirmed this week: "Liverpool confirm Hugo Ekitike has sustained a serious Achilles injury. Scans on the issue have subsequently confirmed a rupture of the Achilles tendon. Ekitike will therefore be sidelined for the remaining weeks of the club season and unable to participate at this summer's World Cup with France."

Leoni is out until August after suffering a serious knee injury earlier in the season.
Wataru Endo - Out
Endo was ruled out for the season with an ankle issue back in February.
Alisson Becker - Out
Alisson is not quite ready to return, but he is getting closer. Slot said last week: "No, we don't get a player back yet... but Alisson is working hard to find his way back into the squad, so that's really positive. He will not be in the squad this weekend."
