Liverpool are officially sporting Adidas kits once again following their mega-money deal agreement that will see the club reap the rewards for years to come.

Not only do the Reds have a fresh new kit designer, the several new players they have brought in during a busy summer transfer window have all finally been assigned their official squad numbers for the 2025/26 season.

This is always an exciting time for players and fans as we get to see who has significant numbers within the club's history and what players have their own unique take.

Let's take a look at what Liverpool's newest signings will be wearing this season.

Florian Wirtz takes on a Legacy number

The German superstar will be Liverpool's new No. 7 for this season and beyond as he takes the number vacated by the recently departed Luis Diaz.

The Colombian did the number proud after he switched from 23 to 7, but Wirtz will be eager to leave an even bigger legacy. Throw in the fact that he is the most expensive signing in club and English history as of this writing, and the legacy could truly hit another level.

Some of the most iconic and dominant players in Liverpool history have worn the No. 7. Kenny Dalglish, Kevin Keegan, Steve McManaman and Luis Suarez all left a lasting mark with this number.

If Wirtz can come anywhere close to the careers of those guys, he will have lived up to his transfer fee and more. Arne Slot sees him as a central figure of the next generation, and giving him such a historic number adds to his aura.

Jeremie Frimpong keeps what he knows

The electric Dutch wingback has already gotten off to a fine start during his first preseason with Liverpool following his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen.

He will sport the familiar No. 30 at Anfield, the same number he wore at Bayer during his time there. He's made the number his own and there is no doubt that if his career trajectory continues as it is, he will make the No. 30 worth mentioning at Liverpool.

There is not a long and rich history for this number at Liverpool which means Frimpong can really leave his own lasting legacy at the club if all things go well.

Players sometimes like familiarity, so having the chance to keep his same squad number from his Leverkusen days might be a small nugget in his quick acclimation at the club.

Milos Kerkez the new No. 6

The left-back of the future and present at Liverpool will be sporting an important number during his time in red.

The legendary Alan Hansen wore this number during his sensational career so the young Hungarian will have some huge shoes to fill. A recent No. 6 was the silky smooth Thiago Alcantara.

Kerkez will have time on his side to create his own history with the number and Arne hopes he can bring the same return Andy Robertson did when he signed from Hull eight years ago.

Hugo Ekitike and Giorgi Mamardashvili get their numbers

The French forward that came from Frankfurt for €90 million will be the new No. 22 for Liverpool as he tries to make his own way at Anfield.

The very prolific Robbie Fowler sported this number during his second stint at the club and Ekitike will be praying he racks up the same number of goals as Fowler. Heck, we are all in sync on that!

Mamardashvili will be No. 25 as he deputizes behind Alisson Becker for the time being. The big Georgian will have a significant role to play in the future, but for now, his 25 kit should only be seen in various cup matches this season.

An honorable mention of new numbers is Conor Bradley leaving behind his distinctive 84 to take on the No. 12 shirt for this season. I personally liked the 84 but hey, who am I to fault the lad?
