The countdown to the Barclays Women's Super League season can truly begin. On Thursday morning at 10am UK time, the fixtures for the new WSL season were released, so check out Liverpool's entire calendar below.

Liverpool will begin their WSL campaign on Sunday 6 September against Charlton Athletic in South London. The Reds' first home game of the season is against Tottenham Hotspur in St Helen's the following Sunday. After that, Gareth Taylor will be up against his former side, namely Manchester City, facing the champions at Joie Stadium in a Friday night fixture.
Liverpool's first four matches will all be broadcast by Sky Sports in the UK, while CBS Sports have won the rights to the WSL in the United States. Alongside Sky, BBC also show matches in the UK.
Where will Liverpool play their home WSL matches?
Liverpool's primary home is St Helens Stadium in St Helens, having signed a ten-year agreement with the Rugby Super League club in 2024. However, the Reds will once again play three matches at Anfield. This will be the home matches against Everton, Arsenal and Aston Villa.
What is new about the WSL next season?
The Women's Super League has expanded from 12 to 14 clubs, meaning every team will now play 26 league matches. Birmingham City, Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic are the newly-promoted tio, the latter defeating Leicester City on penalties in a play-off in May, thereby relegating the Foxes.
What other competitions will Liverpool compete in?
Liverpool will enter the FA Cup in the fourth round, reaching the semi-finals of last year's competition, before being ousted by Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Reds will also enter the recently rebranded and revamped Subway Players Cup. They will enter a league phase, playing six matches and six away. The top eight clubs at the end of the league phase will advance to the quarter-finals, with a straight knockout competition thereafter. To reduce travel costs, ahead of the league phase, the 23 competing clubs have been split into north and south.

- Southern: Brighton, Bristol City, Charlton, Crystal Palace, Ipswich, Leicester, London City Lionesses, Southampton, Tottenham, Watford, West Ham & Wolves.
Starting from this season, the WSL's UEFA competitions entrants will not compete in the League Cup. Well, considering this trio, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea, have won every single edition of the Conti Cup to date, this really opens it up for the rest of the field. Thus, Taylor's team have to be viewing this competition as a genuine opportunity to land Liverpool's first piece of major silverware.
