Mo Salah has never had a stronger case for a maiden Ballon d'Or as he continues his incredible form this season for the high-flying Reds.
The Egyptian King is smashing records left, right and center and he will be desperate to get his hands on that golden trophy in October. Let's take a look at how Salah is making his case undeniable.
Premier League masterclass
Mo Salah, even by his own lofty ambitions, is having an incredible season. He has never scored less than eighteen league goals and his current tally of twenty-five is the third highest at this stage of a season and is just seven off of his own personal record from 2017/18.
Perhaps more remarkably so, Salah has an astonishing seventeen assists this campaign to date, meaning he is just three of the joint record of twenty, shared by Kevin De Bruyne and Thierry Henry.
This also means Salah is three away from becoming the second player ever to get twenty goals and twenty assists in a single Premier League season.

Not only have these incredible numbers propelled him personally to new hights, they have seen his Liverpool side cruising at the top of the table.
Whilst several of his teammates are also having good seasons, it's hard to believe Liverpool would be anywhere near where they are without him.
European success
Liverpool also topped the newly minted Champions League "League Phase", despite having fixtures against German champions Bayer Leverkusen and reigning European champions, Real Madrid.
Traditionally a key factor in determining the winner of this prestigious award, Salah will know a deep run in the competition could be key. If Liverpool were to go on and win the big one, it'll surely be inevitable.

Salah grabbed himself three goals and four assists during the league phase, which has taken him to forty-seven goals in the competition.
His two goals and assist in the EFL Cup mean he has now fifty-two goal contributions this season, fifteen more than his closest rival in Harry Kane.
International contribution and breaking Records
Perhaps something that has held him back in previous efforts, a year without a major international tournament suggests this year will all be about club football.
Despite this, Salah is the African World Cup Qualification leading goal scorer also, with five goals. These have taken Egypt to near certain qualification already.

Salah has earned another handful of personal records again this season, including but not limited too;
1. The first player in Premier League history to get 40 goal contributions in two different seasons
2. The first player this season to register 50 goal contributions in Europe
3. The first Premier League player to record a goal and an assist in the same game on eleven different occasions.
4. The first Premier League player to score more than twenty-five goals and register more than fifteen assists in a single season.
The competition
Kylian Mbappe - Mbappe will never not be a contender, with moments such as his superb Champions League hattrick against Manchester City in their recent second leg. The forward now has the Real Madrid factor and has seventeen La Liga goals so far this season.
Harry Kane - Kane looks certain to finally end his major trophy drought as his Bayern Munich side are flying at the top of the Bundesliga. The Englishman has twenty-one goals in the league this season and if he can add more trophies than that ever likely Bundesliga, he will be a contender.
Vinicius Jr - Infamous for being distraught at his second place last year, Vini Jr is almost a by proxy front runner here. The Brazilian is having a less than productive season than last year but remains in the hunt for trophies, including the big one he wants to retain.
