The 10 Liverpool players at EURO 2024 this summer
Netherlands - Cody Gakpo, Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch
For the Netherlands, Liverpool fans will be treated to a triple-header. As if by chance, this is the nation which new boss Arne Slot will be rooting for, so he will be excited to see Liverpool trio Cody Gakpo, Virgil van Dijk and Ryan Gravenberch in action.
Cody Gakpo made a name for himself in the Netherlands squad, as he was key to their run in the 2022 World Cup. He will hope to have a similar performance in the Netherlands attack, alongside notable names such as Donyell Malen, Xavi Simons and Memphis Depay.
Then, in the midfield, Ryan Gravenberch is expected to play a key role. The former Bayern Munich man could partner with Liverpool legend Georginio Wijnaldum, in what would be a terrific watch for Liverpool fans.
Virgil van Dijk will be one of the more senior Netherlands players, and he could join the likes of Matthijs De Ligt, Nathan Ake and Micky van de Ven in the defence.
England - Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold
Gareth Southgate has selected defensive Liverpool paid Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold as he aims to take his side to the final again, but this time win it.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is the favourite of the two Liverpool stars to start. His creativity and experience in the side could prove handy. However, there will be a competition for places with the likes of Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier. Joe Gomez has made 15 senior appearances for England until this point.
Czech Republic - Vitezslav Jaros
Loaned out Liverpool goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros has been granted a surprise call-up to the Czech Republic squad for EURO 2024. Having made one international appearance already, it will be interesting to see whether the 22-year-old makes an appearance between the sticks in a major tournament.
France - Ibrahima Konate
Having played the full 90 minutes against Luxembourg and come off the bench against Canada, Ibrahima Konate will be confident that he can play a key role for France. However, he will face competition from the likes of Dayot Upamecano and William Saliba.
Hungary - Dominik Szoboszlai
Dark horses Hungary will be captained by Liverpool hero Dominik Szoboszlai. It goes without saying that the dynamic midfielder will play a key role as he is widely tipped to start every game for his beloved nation.
Portugal - Diogo Jota
It is a star-studded Portugal team, but Diogo Jota earned his place. He is among an exceptional attack which includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Felix, Rafael Leao and Gonçalo Ramos. However, Jota's speed and cunningness could make him a great option for the former European champions.
Scotland - Andrew Robertson
The Tartan Army has selected Liverpool legend Andrew Robertson to represent their defence. This is not a surprise, considering he is their best player. A nation which is full of pride and belief, they will get behind Robbo, who is expected to start every game.
