We are back with Part II of our miniseries where I am ranking the current Liverpool squad's top 20 players. On the agenda today are No. 11-15 which means we are getting closer to the presumed starters which makes things even more difficult.

Once again the criteria for this is based on performances, future projections, history of impact and a dash of my own views. If you missed Part I with No. 16-20 you can find that here.

Let's jump back into the rankings.

15. Ryan Gravenberch - CM

We stay in the midfield for the next name on the list. Gravenberch finished the season on an upward trajectory and he has been recalled to the Netherlands setup as a result.

If he puts on a good showing for his country this summer, he will come back to Anfield raring to go into the new season.

Gravenberch recently spoke about his desire to stay at Liverpool and that he thinks Slot's attacking style suits his playing strengths. Gravenberch is a clearly a gifted player as he glides around the pitch on the ball.

He makes himself available in the attacking third often and he has an underrated ability to pick out a progressive pass.

He could thrive in one of the advanced midfield roles in the 4-2-3-1 system Slot prefers, or as a slightly higher No. 8 in the more traditional 4-3-3. The young Dutch midfielder has all the tools in his bag to make 2024-25 his campaign.

I expect 12 or more goal contributions in all competitions this season which could see him move up this list.
