6. Diogo Jota/Luis Diaz - F

We reach the cusp of the Top 5 with one of the most clinical finishers the club has seen. Jota has the ability to score from any angle, using any part of his body he needs.

However, he has struggled with injuries in his time at Anfield which has hampered him at various times when he was truly finding his footing. Given a fully fit season, there is no doubt he could push for a 25-goal campaign.

Whether that is playing out wide or through the middle, his positional versatility is a key component to his game as well.

He understands where he needs to be in order to be best placed for a goal scoring chance and that composure is something to not be overlooked. Jota could have hopes that under the Slot regime, he might be given a shake at the Starting XI.

Even if that remains spotty, his importance to Liverpool is paramount. Coming on as a super sub or starting, his goals and predatory instincts in the box help unlock a lot of things for the team.

As for Diaz, his work rate game after game is something to be admired. He is one of the more technically gifted players in the squad when on the ball. He lacks the finishing that Jota does however.

If he does stay this summer, Diaz will still be relied upon to lay down as much pressing and forward drive as he can under Arne Slot. He and Jota sit together here as they could be important to the newlook Reds attack in different ways.
