3. Trent Alexander-Arnold

Out of the three players whose contracts will expire in 2025, Trent Alexander-Arnold is the most likely to sign an extension, likely long-term. There have been murmurs in recent months about potentially moving away from his boyhood club, but it is hard to imagine a world where Alexander-Arnold doesn't stay a Red for the foreseeable future. Fabrizio Romano reported back in March that Spanish giants Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Trent's contract expiration status.

Trent's role under Jurgen Klopp has changed plenty over the course of the last couple of seasons, moving more towards a central role with less defensive responsibility. After missing nearly two months due to a knee injury, Alexander-Arnold's assist total looks shockingly low at just four assists with three games to play.

It will be interesting to watch how Arne Slot potentially uses Alexander-Arnold next season. At Feyenoord, the club's most-used right-back under Slot, Lutsharel Geertruida, has gained tons of praise this season among Eredivisie spectators.
