Liverpool have just one player in the Three Lions squad, which is set to face the Republic of Ireland on September 7th and Finland on September 10th. That player is Trent Alexander-Arnold, who came extremely close to scoring his first goal of the season against Manchester United in the thumping 3-0 win on September 1st if it wasn't for VAR.
Trent's inclusion in the England squad is not a surprise, but nonetheless, his situation with the team will be interesting to watch with a new gaffer.
After Gareth Southgate's departure, it will be a former Everton player that Trent will have to impress in training to be England's starting right-back in their upcoming nation's league matches. Greece is the lone country in England's group, and the Three Lions will not face this window.
