The Premier League schedule breaks favorably for Liverpool over the next month or so, how many points can they rack up?

Yes, there is still a week remaining of the international break but that does not mean the prognostication must end!

Today, we're going to pull out the future telling skills and take a look at how Liverpool will perform in their next five league matches as they come. Now, of course, there will be other fixtures mixed in there, but this is only a predictor of how things will go in the Premier League.

Without further ado, let's take a look at what some of the results could be for the Reds.

Liverpool v. Nottingham Forest (H) Sep. 14

The first match back is probably one of the easiest ones to call on this list as Liverpool will be heavy favorites in this meeting at Anfield.

Fresh off the long break I will expect us to come out firing with a desire to kill the game off early as there is a huge Champions League fixture just a few days later.

We will probably see our first significant Starting XI rotation of the season with the trip to Milan at the forefront of Arne Slot's mind.

As for the match, the Reds should have too much firepower for Nottingham Forest as their defense is one of the weaker ones in the Premier League. Anthony Elanga could provide some nice spark on the wing and Chris Wood is an old school center-forward, but there is not much else here to worry about.

Prediction: Liverpool 3 Nottingham Forest 0

Liverpool v. Bournemouth (H) Sep. 21

Having their third match in a week for the first time this season will surely be a challenge for Slot's men.

Depending on how intense the game in Italy is midweek, Liverpool could come into this one relatively sluggish and off their game. As a result, if the Cherries were to steal an early goal I would not be shocked.

Forward Antoine Semenyo has been in fine form in the early going this season and he will pose a viable threat up top for the visitors. Newboy Evanilson is also a formidable striker who has some physicality to his game.

Ultimately though, the second half will see the Reds' class shine through and they should pull away somewhat comfortably.

Prediction: Liverpool 2 Bournemouth 1

Liverpool v. Wolverhampton Wanderers (A) Sep. 28

Once again, the Reds will have to navigate a midweek cup tie as four days after the Bournemouth match they face a tough West Ham in the EFL Cup 3rd round.

This is absolutely going to be a trying few weeks for Liverpool and will put the depth of the squad to the iron.

This is also Liverpool's first away match in the league since returning from the international break two weeks prior, so the Molineux will present its own challenges.

We know all about the danger posed by the Wolves attack led by Matheus Cunha and Hwang Hee-chan, two players that have hurt us in the past. In their midfield, we should see a former Liverpool target from Brazil, Andre Trindade who recently completed his long-awaited transfer to England.

This has the makings of a "trap" game, but i think it will be decided by a moment of brilliance from someone in Red.

Prediction: Liverpool 1 Wolves 0

Liverpool v. Crystal Palace (A) Oct. 5

Taking place just three days after Champions League Matchday 2, I think this is finally where Liverpool runs into some frustration.

It doesn't matter how deep the squad is, at this point they will have played a lot of football in a little over a month and it will finally catch up to them.

I expect the finishing to be a little more wayward than usual and there will certainly be sloppy mistakes made. The home crowd will spur on Palace which will further make things difficult for us. Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton are absolute stars and they could play a pivotal role for the hosts.

While I don't think Liverpool will lose the game, they will drop their first points of the league season and it will be totally understandable from an outside perspective.

Prediction: Liverpool 1 Crystal Palace 1

Liverpool v. Chelsea (H) Oct. 20

The Crystal Palace draw will finally bring an end to a loaded fixture list as well as sending the players off for the October international break.

This is always a marquee fixture on the calendar, but with a Champions League meeting with RB Leipzig a few days later before a clash against Arsenal, it might not hold the same weight.

The Blues look like they are in limbo once again as their endless transfer business has yet to payoff in the way they would have hoped. They have plenty of talented individuals, but until they begin meshing as a unit, Liverpool should be able to overcome.

The Anfield crowd will once again motivate and inspire and while there will inevitably be nervy moments, the Reds should see off Chelsea to maintain a very strong start to the Premier League campaign.

Prediction: Liverpool 4 Chelsea 2
