Liverpool are set for a summer of transition, with the major change taking place in the Anfield dugout. Long-serving manager Jurgen Klopp will leave the club, along with many backroom staff.

But the German and his team could be followed out the exit door by a handful of players. The likes of Adrian, Thiago and Joel Matip are all set to leave Merseyside this summer upon the expiry of their contracts.

Unfortunately, the trio will not bring in any money for new players. But plenty of other stars could. Based on the latest transfer news, we rank Liverpool’s three best chances of big-money sales this summer.

Caoimhin Kelleher - £20m

Republic of Ireland star Kelleher has enjoyed a superb season in between the sticks for the Reds. But unfortunately, his minutes have only come due to injuries and rotation, with first-choice Alisson having missed a large chunk of the campaign due to a hamstring issue.

Liverpool fans will be desperate for the deputy to stay, but at the same time they will be fully understanding if the goalkeeper decides to pursue regular minutes elsewhere.

He would certainly improve many Premier League clubs, particularly in the bottom half of the table.

Transfermarkt currently values Kelleher at £15.4million, but the Merseyside club would undoubtedly be looking for a figure of £20million-plus for their talented goalkeeper this summer.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - £60m

Again, Alexander-Arnold is not a name that Reds fans will want to see being linked with an Anfield exit. But that has certainly been the case in recent times, with plenty of speculation concerning Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Whether or not the La Liga outfit want to splash the cash on the right-back remains to be seen, but the Reds will surely want to keep hold of one of their main stars for as long as possible.

It would definitely take a huge offer for Liverpool to even consider an Alexander-Arnold exit this summer.

As per Transfermarkt, the attacking full-back is valued at £60million. His current club would again want that figure to rise and rise, particularly if big-spending Madrid were to pursue a deal. This one would be tough sell to some fans.

Mohamed Salah - £100m

It has been quite a roller-coaster season for star winger Salah. He has endured tricky times on the pitch of late, but overall can still be more than happy with his creative output.

The attacker has set the bar so high during his time on Merseyside that perhaps criticism easily falls his way when such standards are not met.

He is another player that Liverpool supporters will not want to see leave in the summer, but talk is increasing of a high-profile exit.

A figure of £55.8million has been quoted by Transfermarkt, but once more, Liverpool would quite simply be foolish to accept such an offer for the winger.

Much of the discussions involving the Egyptian focus on the Saudi Pro League, who could splash the cash in order to make Salah their next marquee signing. If that is the case, a bid in the region of £100m could go Liverpool’s way.
