The summer transfer window begins on June 14th for the Premier League, and new Liverpool coach Arne Slot is sure to bring in a few new players to help fit his tactical approach. Slot's double pivot requires skilled and tireless midfielders, with a solid back line and intense striking force.
Rumors have been circulating regarding Leeds player Crysencio Summerville being linked to Liverpool.
Summerville is a 22 year old Dutch winger who prefers to play on the left, making him a true replacement for Sadio Mane that many fans expected from Luis Diaz. While Diaz has had a solid season, more depth is required on our wings.
Summerville played for Feyenoord's U21 side, so Slot is very familiar with the Dutch national already. His current estimated market value is around 18 million euros, which would be a great deal for someone with his potential.
Our defense has been incredible this season due to the hard work of Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate, however, we could use some depth in the center back position to cover all our bases.
One potential option is Goncalo Inacio out of Sporting CP. Inacio has started 27 games for the club, scoring a goal and getting an assist in Liga Portugal this season.
At only 22 years old, he is proving that he has the potential to become a star, which is reflected in his €40 million evaluation.
While not his primary position, Inacio has also been known to play as a left fullback, which could also add to our depth in that position as we seem to be a bit lacking outside of Andrew Robertson.
With speculation on the future of our star winger, Mo Salah, signing a new right winger may be just what Liverpool needs this summer.
One optimistic replacement could be Barcelona's Raphinha. Barcelona is in dire financial trouble, so they could potentially be looking to offload some players this coming transfer window.
The 27 year old Brazilian national has 5 goals and 9 assists in 26 appearances in La Liga this season, but given the chance to come to Liverpool, he could improve even further under the guidance of Arne Slot.
As a left-footed winger who prefers the right side, he could make for the perfect inverted winger for the Reds.
While all of these rumors are only speculation at this point, these three players could have a drastic impact if they decide to come to Liverpool over the summer.
