3. Gravenberch expcted to anchor the midfield
As he has done throughout pre-season under Arne Slot, Gravenberch is tipped to be Liverpool's number 6 in their Premier League opener against Ipswich Town. He started there again versus Sevilla, going 82 minutes in the win, recording four recoveries and winning two out of five duels.
Wataru Endo, who is more of a natural defensive midfielder than Gravenberch, will be riding the bench for the time being. Of course, Gravenberch's chances of being the starting defensive midfielder hinge on what happens with the Martin Zubimendi transfer saga, as the Spanish midfielder still contemplates his future with Real Sociedad.
