3. Mo Salah is still extremely good at football
Age does seem to just be a number for Mo Salah, as the Egyptian winger is back to pulling all the strings again in attack. A relatively poor end to the season with Liverpool last season had some worried that perhaps father time had crept into the equation, but no one would say that based on his conditioning this pre-season.
Salah picked up an assist in the match against Manchester United, making a run past United's Collyer before sending a ball crashing into the path of an open Curtis Jones in front of goal. In the second half, a splendid through-ball from Salah into a surging Conor Bradley ended with Kostas Tsimikas finding the Reds third and final goal of the night.
Liverpool will face Sevilla next at Anfield on August 11th, with the remaining players on break returning to the squad.
