It's been a nice few weeks for Liverpool as they were not required to play in the Champions League playoff round to earn a spot in the last 16.
They did that during the league phase, and as such, have been able to sit back during the week and see some truly stunning results, with none bigger than Bodo/Glimt taking out Inter Milan.
With that in mind, and only one more day of matches left, Liverpool now know who they could face in the next round. It will be one of either Atletico Madrid, Galatasaray or Juventus. I'm here to rank these opponents by how difficult of a matchup they would be for Arne Slot's side.
Let's start with the potential matchup that could pose the fewest problems for Liverpool.
3. Juventus
The Italian giants have been in very poor form of late; suffering losses to Atalanta, Inter, Galatasaray and Como in February alone. They have conceded at least two goals in every match they've played this month as well.
That kind of leaky defense could be just what the doctor ordered for a Liverpool attack that has flashed at times, but too often has left much to be desired throughout this topsy-turvy season.
While they do posses some talented players like Kenan Yildiz and Weston McKennie, the Reds would surely love the chance to face this reeling side. There is not a lot of history of Liverpool versus Juventus, so there are no recent trends to go off either.
Having said that, Juve face an uphill battle to even get into the Round of 16, as they were smashed 5-2 in the first leg of their playoff tie agaisnt Galatsaray.
They will need some magic on Wednesday if they hope to carry on in their Champions League journey.
Slot and his staff will surely be hoping for a miracle turnaround to get a run at the Turin based club.
2. Galatasaray
Now we shift to the Turkish side that has Juve on the ropes. Liverpool are very familiar with this team having suffered a 1-0 defeat in Istanbul back in September of this season.
In fact, the Reds have lost their last two meetings against the Turkish giants, with their last win in the series coming way back in 2006. That is their lone win from five all-time meetings, so history would not be on Liverpool's side in this tie.

Galatasaray have been in scintillating form in recent weeks as they have ripped off five straight victories culminating in the thrashing of Juventus last week.
They are a disciplined side that plays together and has more than enough top class players to take advantage of an off night for one of Europe's giants. Liverpool would need to be fully locked in here.
Victor Osimhen could win a two-legged tie all by himself, let alone taking into account the form of Noa Lang and the talents of Leroy Sane, Yunus Akgun and Davinson Sanchez.
In the Champions League this season, Gala are averaging 1.6 goals per match while conceding 1.4, so goals will usually flow both ways in all of their matches on the biggest stage. That could invite Slot to field an aggressive lineup, which in turn could backfire given the tools the Turkish side have available.
1. Atletico Madrid
A lot of this ranking comes purely from having Diego Simeone at the helm. Regardless of form, he is always a danger to set up his side to be so difficult to breakdown before taking their one or two chances to score.
Los Rojiblancos have been in very erratic form over the last month or so having seen some big wins, puzzling defeats and frustrating draws. They've scored 8 goals in their last two matches though, and are trending in the right direction.
Over two legs, there are not many sides more difficult to overcome then Atleti, so Liverpool will surely be hoping to avoid this trap if they can help it.

Julian Alavarez has scored five Champions League goals this season, while Norwegian striker Alexander Sorloth bagged a hatrick in Tuesday's win over Brugge to prove his potency as well.
We all know the danger that Marcos Llorente can also be, so Reds fans will be very weary if this is indeed the Round of 16 matchup. Lastly, Jan Oblak is still very capable of stealing a result in goal.
The fighting spirit we see from Simeone's sides at this stage of competitions means that Liverpool will have to shake off the cobwebs we've seen recently, and be ready to get punched in the mouth and respond with vigor.
Of the three possible opponents for Liverpool in the next round, this would be the least favorable for a variety of reasons.
