Rumors about the future of Liverpool forward Luis Diaz continue to percolate within the football community.
Regardless of what Liverpool journalists have said the club's stance is on the Colombian's future, clubs do not seem to be swayed in their intent to bring him in this summer.
There has long been reported uncertainty about the 28-year-old's future and if it may be somewhere other than Anfield.
A Move Abroad Gaining Momentum
Reputable sources such as David Ornstein and Paul Joyce have reported on this saga and addressed the Reds' stance on the player's future.
They both are in lockstep: Liverpool are not actively looking to move the forward on and have rebuffed interest from the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Joyce did add an interesting tidbit in his initial report on Diaz. Though he only has two years left on his deal, meaning the club's leverage in transfer negotiations is steadily decreasing, as is his value, Joyce stated that Liverpool are uninterested in offering Diaz a new contract.
This is an interesting approach to take and is one that Diaz himself probably is not happy with.
Perhaps resultingly, there continues to be consistent reporting elsewhere across Europe of Diaz's interest in a move away and clubs preparing an approach for his services.
Today, Fabrizio Romano reported that Barcelona's intentions to bring the Colombian to Spain have not changed and that they are planning a new approach soon, though it is unclear if this is a new approach to Diaz or to Liverpool.
Barca back for More?
Romano also mentions that Diaz himself is keen on this move happening and that Barcelona are preparing for 'difficult negotiations', given that two bids have already been rejected.
Thinking back to the Philippe Coutinho saga in the past, it is unsurprising that Barcelona are looking to push on for a player after having their approaches rebuffed.

Congruent to Romano's detailing of Barcelona's interest, there was also news from Germany today about Bayern Munich and Diaz as the Bavarians continue their extended search for a new winger.
Christian Falk stated that Diaz has let the club know he wants to move to Germany, though this may have been premature.
Florian Plettenberg followed this report up with a claim that, while the German giants are still interested, any reports of a decision being made or an agreement being reached on personal terms are not accurate.
Plettenberg finishes by reiterating that the club is perpetually in contact with his agents but that other clubs are also interested.
Given the circumstances surrounding the club, it is likely that no transfer news will come from Liverpool's end until they are ready, whenever that may be.
Obviously, based on today, that does not stop clubs elsewhere from attempting to continue on with their business with Liverpool.
Whether that is courteous to and respectful of a club in mourning is up for interpretation, though most Liverpool fans probably know where they stand. Regardless, this was the latest surrounding Luis Diaz.
