Having already completed an impressive amount of business this summer transfer window, it appears Liverpool are not finished as they look to reconstruct Arne Slot's side in order to compete on all fronts next season.
The club's attention seems to have turned primarily to London, with Crystal Palace central defender Marc Guehi reportedly receiving heavy interest from Anfield.
Real interest from the Reds
Late last week, Sami Mokbel released an article detailing the current situation surrounding the Englishman and Liverpool's role within that situation.

Mokbel described the rumored interest in the 24-year-old as "genuine" and stated that the Merseyside club are prepared to accelerate a move to bring him to Anfield this summer.
This information was presented with caveats, however.
Mokbel mentioned that Guehi's age is a bit older than the profile of player Liverpool have targeted at central defender in recent years, and that the remaining years of his contract present an interesting conundrum.
Should the price tag be deemed by Liverpool as exorbitant, they may opt to bide their time and try to bring him in on a free transfer next summer.
Mokbel paints the differing valuation of Guehi by the two clubs as a "difficult balance" to navigate, a logical conclusion.
Fabrizio Romano also offered new insight on this potential transfer this week, stating that Guehi is high on the Reds' list of available central defenders, but that he is not the only option.
He did not provide names for what other players might be accompanying Guehi on this list.

A move cold be picking up Steam
Romano also stated that more contacts have occurred between the player's camp and Liverpool this week, as they look to present him with the club's plan going forward and the ways he fits into said plan.
Given Guehi's standing with the national team and the upcoming World Cup, it will be necessary that he is sold on a club's plan before he agrees to join them.
He will not want to risk jeopardizing his substantial role with England by joining a club where he does not play consistently or is played out of position.
It remains to be seen when this move might accelerate. It is almost certainly tied to Jarell Quansah's move to Bayer Leverkusen, so that move being officially confirmed might hasten the club's negotiations for Guehi.
For now, it is clear that Liverpool are interested in Guehi and view him as someone that can fill a role at Anfield. Let's see where it goes from here.
