Watch: Arne Slot takes a dig at the 115 charges against Man City
By Kian Long
In a press conference, Arne Slot deflected from Mohamed Salah's comments, by taking a brave but humorous dig at Man City's 115 charges.
It is fair to say that every Liverpool supporter loves Arne Slot. Naturally, there was skepticism when he was first announced, given the impossible task of replacing Jurgen Klopp.
However, Slot has done everything in his power to make the transition as smooth as possible for Liverpool fans. Now, they have only lost one game all season - That's nothing short of remarkable!
It was believed that Liverpool's main title rivals would be Man City. However, as things stand, Liverpool are flying away with it and Man City are, well, playing awfully at the moment.
Liverpool made a huge title claim by beating Man City over the weekend. After the match, Mohamed Salah made some cryptic messages about his future, claiming that the weekend might've been his last time facing Man City at Anfield Stadium.
The comments were in relation to his contract situation, with his contract expiring at the end of this season. Despite being a club legend, there is every possibility Salah might leave after the current campaign.

Arne Slot was asked about Mohamed Salah's comments and to which, he gave a response which did not disappoint. Rather than taking about Salah's contract situation, Slot instead spoke about Man City's 115 charges and said that Salah perhaps knows more about them.
In his own words, Arne Slot said: “Maybe Mo knows more about the 115 charges, so expects them not to be there next season… it was a joke!. I repeat, a joke."
It was a brilliant press conference moment, whereby Arne Slot broke the tension surrounding his player Mohamed Salah and instead took a dig at Man City. Both of these things combined will have, in no doubt, made Liverpool fans love Arne Slot even more.
Arne Slot is obviously a very likeable guy. Man City fans won't like to agree but from Liverpool's perspective, he is replacing Klopp's humorous side, as well as his ability to win matches.
Fans are certainly not banned from talking about Man City's 115 charges. So, it is frustrating that managers might face a different treatment for addressing the charges. We can only hope Arne Slot is not handed any punishment for his comments but such is the nature of the modern game, it wouldn't come as a surprise.
