Monday will see Liverpool and La Liga side Athletic Bilbao face off in two separate preseason friendly matches as both clubs begin final preparations for the new season.
The Reds are back from their Asian tour and will be hosting the matches at Anfield so it will be a nice appetizer for fans to get a first-hand look at the newly revamped Premier League champions following a summer of heavy business.
With that in mind, the two matches with Bilbao will be some of the final tests Arne Slot will get to put his players through. Let's discuss what to watch for on Monday.
Does the youth keep shining?
Perhaps no Liverpool player has risen their stock more this summer than the 16-year old Rio Ngumoha, who has been electric whenever he has been on the pitch.
He's impressed so much there is talk that the club does not need to replace the departed Luis Diaz as young Rio could be a readymade heir on the left side of the attack.

His technical ability on the ball at such a young age allows him to play with such confidence and maturity that his game does not shrink, even when surrounded by the huge stars currently at Liverpool's disposal.
In addition to his exploits, Trey Nyoni has done himself no harm this summer either as his outstanding composure on the ball has been wonderful to watch in the midfield.
Both players will be looking to punctuate an impressive summer with strong outings against Bilbao on Monday.
Continued growth from new arrivals
We have already seen positive returns and signs from Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez thus far in preseason, but things are not totally perfect yet. That comes with time and reps, which Monday's friendlies offer plenty of.
Frimpong has looked solid defensively and flashed his attacking prowess, but as he continues to gel with Mohamed Salah on the right side, they could form a truly devastating partnership over the next few seasons.

Kerkez is going to be the left-back of the present and future at Liverpool so the sooner he can settle in, the better for all parties involved.
Finally, and maybe most importantly, Florian Wirtz has looked dangerous in his limited action thus far, but he will be essential to a smooth transition in attack this season and beyond.
Having arrived for British record fee at the time, the German playmaker will have eyes on his every move this season and each misplaced pass or goal scored will likely be overanalyzed one way or another.
Will Slot tinker with the tactics?
One of the most important aspects of preseason action for managers and coaches is the opportunity it provides them to work in new formations, tactics and more.
While Liverpool have not totally overhauled how they play this summer, there are some nuanced differences that will need to be accounted for such as moving from a less physically dynamic TAA to the explosive Frimpong.
It also gives players, especially new signings, the chance to get as comfortable as they can with what is expected of them before the real games begin.
With the double fixture list against Bilbao being the final preseason matches before the Community Shield takes center stage, Slot might see it as one last chance to reinforce his message or insert a new concept.
