Liverpool’s inconsistency continues season after season. Klopp suffering in a similar way to how Rodgers did a couple of seasons ago.
Liverpool at it again, one win and one lose. A show of inconsistent performances, taking the chances of European football, further and further away from us.
What has actually been different in the last seven years? Liverpool with Luis Suarez, were a goal scoring team. Take the great Uruguayan striker out that team. We have a team lacking in goals and possesses one of the worst defenses in the league.
Liverpool now with Lallana, Mane, Coutinho and Firmino, a goal scoring team. Apparently the highest scoring team of 2016 for a calendar year. Take them away? You still without fail, have one of the worst defensive teams in the English Premier League.

Work in progress. In a changing phase. This season is not our season, we are still in our development stages. All things uttered by Liverpool fans to other Liverpool fans. Why? Because that’s what we are told to believe by the club.
I doubt it highly Klopp is the problem. I wouldn’t want him to be anyway, Love the guy and what he’s about. Nevertheless, I do hold in reserve, certain doubt over some of the decisions made by the German powerhouse.
Problems have persisted since before he, [Klopp] came in. Three transfer windows on and Klopp has done little to make things better at the back.
The double standard:
Many eyebrows raised and many questions asked. With both eyes open, it’s hard not to see the double standard in some of the decisions Klopp has made.
Klopp handed a guilt free card, replicating positional changes Brendan Rodgers was sent to the slaughter house for. BUT! It’s Klopp and Klopp knows best.
Players such as Stewart Downing playing as a right-back for Liverpool under Rodgers. Jordan Henderson and even Raheem Sterling had their shot at right-back during Rodgers time at LFC.
What happened during this period? Fans lost their shit and criticized the Northern Irishman. Not acquiring the proper personnel for the specific job. Not getting in quality and forcing out players who actually deserve to stay.
A prime example, the Sakho situation. Liverpool needed every bit of help they could during the month of January.

A time where strong contention for the top spot, or top four finish should have been shown by the manager and the club’s hierarchy. Instead, no interest in signing new players, or trying to keep Sakho at the club to help in a difficult time.
Klopp was more than ready to see the player go out the door, but you would think another would be coming in. We could have slid in to the market and secured players to help get that top four goal.

Liverpool hit their lowest point all season during January. To try and bounce back while the entire top five, six teams hit red-hot form, is a tough ask for any team and their manager to overcome.
When credit is due we give it, when stuff are on a downward spiral, we are told to put a sock in it and move on.
Where do we go from here, what’s next in Klopp’s bag of tricks? Last season Liverpool were pushing on for a place in the final on two fronts. Now we trying to salvage what is left of a season showing the same amount of promise for the following season, which is almost nothing.
IMO, If it was Sakho that so much needed an attitude adjustment, why is Klopp not been held accountable for his power drunk attitude?
Just a few things to think about, before we give heaps of praises for the same problem that has been the thorn in our side for some time now.
Playing players out of position and not using the transfer window to our advantage. These things needs to be addressed. Lets hope it happens, rather than getting overlooked again.
