Life keeps getting better and better for young Welshman, Ben Woodburn. One of Liverpool’s most promising youngsters earns his first senior call-up for his country.
Liverpool’s youth players have been revolutionary since the arrival of manager Klopp. Why I say revolutionary because many other renowned managers, would not use as many youngsters as Klopp has.
Importantly enough, they have been excellent in their call-up to the “Major Leagues”. This young man [Woodburn] and Trend Alexander-Arnold, are just two examples of what the youth system has to offer.

Ben Woodburn is certainly on the rise to greatness! At the tender age of 17-years-old, he has already been dubbed the next “Gareth Bale”. If he is anything close to what Bale was before leaving Spurs for Real Madrid, then Liverpool has one of, if not, the best junior prospects in the world right now!
Reason to be excited for what the future has to offer a Liverpool fan. Imagine an entire academy filled with players of Woodburn’s caliber, continuously coming up the ranks?
Couple these improvements in the youth structure going on behind the scenes, with the proposed academy redevelopment at Kirkby. You feel Liverpool might just yet, get back to being the powerhouse we once were.
