Emre Can emerges as an important figure for Liverpool in Henderson’s absence
Emre Can has complicated things for some Liverpool fans. Should he be sold, or should a new contract be tabled by Liverpool with no questions asked?
Since Henderson’s exclusion from the team, with an injury, ruling him out since the Anfield victory over Spurs, 2-0. Can has pulled-up with a string of decent displays. (Some being better than decent).
Henderson has been instrumental in Liverpool’s rise to success (if you can call it that), demonstrating the type of football Klopp wants at the club.
In saying this, Can was criticized heavily for not coming to the party, having trouble concentrating on his game with a lot of talk surrounding the player.
A contract debate, which to date, is ongoing. These problems in returned, raised many questions over whether Can will be able to come in and do the job.

Having recently finished a piece, arguing his worth and raising the awareness of all these problems. Can emphatically answered all these questions himself, filling in for Henderson in style.
Can has actually contributed in most of the games. In fact, Can scored the winner in a match, Liverpool had their backs against the ropes.
Him and midfield partner, Gini, was excellent and the two who showed up in a match we were destined to lose.
The evidence displays, If Emre has a bad game, the team around him has a bad game. If he does anywhere near as well as he did in Man City, Liverpool comes away with the results.
When both him and missing-in-action, Henderson are at the peak of their powers, Liverpool without fail, come away with all the points. Can has provided enough on the field, to state his case. At a young age of 23-years-old, being able to dictate the pace of the game.
Applying himself and rising to the occasion, where the quality of the opposition are a million euros above the standard of Emre and his teammates.
We should be doing everything to keep a player still years ahead of reaching his prime at the club.

To try and make sense of what is going on behind closed doors. One has to question what is the way forward?
We do not sign world-class players for an exuberant amount. Instead, we told, made to believe, we are a team with a manager who enjoys the progress of coaching players.
Why are we stalling on a contract for a player developing in our ranks? If we not going to sign cause the asking price for quality now these days are ridiculously mad.
Clearly, we should be offering contracts to the players who are at the club and has the potential to become world-class.
