Liverpool came out firing with a 4-1 win at the Olympic Stadium in the Premier League. Here are our Liverpool player ratings:

The Reds came into this game off the back of a couple of wins and four clean sheets in the last five games. The afternoon games saw Burnley sneak above the Reds in the table. With four of their rivals facing each other tomorrow (Man City v Arsenal & Chelsea v Man Utd) it was a good opportunity for the Reds to claw some points back.

There were a couple of surprises on the team sheet with Sadio Mane unexpectedly starting after Jurgen Klopp had indicated all week that he wouldn’t be ready. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain got to make his first start for the club in the Premier League. He was mainly deployed on the right but had some time in center midfield as well.

The early exchanges were cagey and sloppy as the Reds settled into their formation. A stereotypical counter attack got us the lead before Joel Matip made it two from a sloppy corner. Another silly goal to give away let them back into it before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain restored the two goal advantage almost immediately. Salah wrapped up the win with his second.

6. Was slightly slow off his line when Lanzini’s deflected ball put Ayew thorough. Though he made himself big, he was fortunate the striker’s shot hit the post. Had a perplexing day trip out to the left hand side and tried a Cruyff turn. Lucky not to punished for that wander.. Goalkeeper. Liverpool. SIMON MIGNOLET
