Liverpool played out a frustrating draw 0-0 with West Bromwich Albion at Anfield tonight. Here are our Liverpool player ratings:

Clean sheet. Unbeaten run still alive. Arsenal drew. Trent Alexander-Arnold. They were the positives from today’s sluggish 0-0 draw with West Brom. This continues the trend of Liverpool struggling to break down teams who have come to defend if we don’t get an early goal.

Once again Jurgen Klopp rotated his side heavily, making six changes from the draw against Everton on Sunday. Trent Alexander-Arnold came in for Joe Gomez and Emre Can & Gini Wijnaldum replaced James Milner & Jordan Henderson.

Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino came back into the side after being rested for the derby. Most surprisingly Loris Karius got a rare start in the Premier League. He has not started in a domestic game since the win against Arsenal in August.

The most controversial moment of the game was substitute Dominic Solanke’s disallowed goal. The ball had ricocheted of the defender and touched his arm as it came of his chest. Sickening and another example of marginal decisions that are not going our way.

Here are our Liverpool player ratings versus West Bromwich Albion:

6. Another opportunity for the German. You wonder if he will ever grab one and make the position his own. He always looks slightly uncertain and feeling the pressure to prove himself and the weight of the shirt. The Kop were on his back in the first half for some small decisions they didn’t like. He had a better start to the second half with two early saves.. Goalkeeper. Liverpool. LORIS KARIUS
