Have we now reached peak James Milner? The Liverpool midfielder has been at it again on Instagram as he reveals a ‘heavy night’ before training.
Milner has crafted a superb alter-ego for himself across social media and he plays up to it like the model professional that he is.
But this isn’t the steal-a-cab type of mad one that his former Manchester City teammate Gareth Barry likes to indulge in. This is a little more manager friendly.
The ex-England international snapped himself in the cinema with a giant bucket of popcorn the night before a late training session and posted it on the Gram – check it out below!

Milner, who has almost been immortalized on Twitter by the Boring James Milner account, has recently told the press how international retirement has prolonged his club career.
Despite being 32-years-old, the midfielder thinks he has a number of top flight years left ahead of him – said the Daily Mail.

Milner has played at left-back or in the middle of the park this campaign and is clearly trusted by manager Jurgen Klopp. Those national breaks allow the elder statesman time to recover properly and as a result he isn’t given any special treatment during regular training sessions.
He’s made an incredible 40 appearances this campaign, with 10 assists and two goals. Remarkably, seven of those have come in the Champions League as he’s started six games.
Milner has been relied on less in the league, starting on 14 times but Klopp has brought the former Three Lions man on as a substitute during 15 games.
How he does it is pretty clear: the man is a dedicated professional who has never touched alcohol after the advice of an old Leeds United teammate.

That reputation has been played up as Milner comes across as a dull footballer at times, but he’s a never good one. Any squad would be lucky to have him.
