Liverpool will face AS Roma in the Champions League Semi-Final next week. Here are five dangerous Roma players that Liverpool will need to watch.

Liverpool fans were elated to see the Reds avoid Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-finals draw, being pitted against AS Roma instead. However, while the Italian outfit does not have the same history of recent success like Madrid and Bayern, they are no pushovers.

Roma currently sit third in Serie A, behind Juventus and Napoli, and are coming off a history comeback against Barcelona that is sure to give them momentum and belief against Liverpool.

It is crucial that neither the supporters or the players get too confident before facing the Giallorossi, who possess a very capable squad with a nice blend of experience and youth, a capable head coach in Eusebio Di Francesco, and a very ambitious owner in James Pallotta.

You don’t beat Chelsea and Barcelona or knock out Atletico Madrid without being a very good side. They have excellent players who can keep Liverpool out and others who can punish any defense errors.

Liverpool are lucky in that they have an insider; Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian wonder moved from Roma to Liverpool just last summer.

I am sure the manager will be getting the lowdown from Salah on the strengths and weaknesses of the Champions League opponents.
