Liverpool fans are taking to social media to comment on the 2018/19 new kit release. Here are the latest reactions from the new shirts.
Every year there is excitement with a hint of trepidation: what will the new kit look like? It has the power to excite or depress a fanbase before a ball of a new season is kicked. If you are superstitious about Liverpool or believe in sport karma – who doesn’t? – then getting the kit right is a big deal.
Today Liverpool released their kit for the 2018/19 season. The initial reactions have been almost all positive. New Balance have put together a clean shirt, with collar and buttons, in a classic deep red.
It would be hard to top this year’s kit – one that is destined to be a classic, especially if Liverpool lift the European Cup in Kiev in May. However this kit is in keeping with simpler, clean look of the last few years.

Early claims that Liverpool will now surely win the Premier League next season are tongue-in-cheek. Or not. Screw it. We’re winning the league!
There has also been some fun with some of the photos from the release. The group photo of Jordan Henderson, Roberto Firmino, Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah has been picked out by a couple of Liverpool players.
Adam Lallana can’t believe his own hairstyle from a month ago and James Milner is joking about not being in the photo.

There is also one pic where Mohamed Salah looks very guilty about something!
This looks like Salah has done something incredibly shameful, and Solanke and Matip can't even bring themselves to look at him. pic.twitter.com/95vFjYWddf

The kit is available for pre-order from the official Liverpool store. Now we have the wait to see what the away kits will look like.
Next: This is the back four we want against West Brom
This season’s orange away kit has become a cult favorite. Liverpool have won every game they’ve played with it including some huge wins against Maribor and West Ham.
