Liverpool vs Arsenal: This may swing the game in the Reds favor
Liverpool and Arsenal have an important clash coming up this Saturday in north London. Here is the biggest advantage that the Reds must expose.
The Reds clearly have the superior squad with more depth and a much higher defensive prowess. Even though this is true, the Gunners are a top four side and can be very dangerous.
Their attack centers around Mesut Özil, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang -who has been playing in the midfield to allow Lacazette in the lineup as well.
Even with this their offensive attack seems to come through right back, Héctor Bellerín. He can surge up the flank past opponents creating a plethora of offensive opportunities.

However, this leaves the back end exposed with the disastrous play of Shokdren Mustafi and the inability of Sokratis to compensate for it. Also Granit Xhaka is being thrust into the left back role, which he is woefully ill-equipped for.
Also, Arsenal will potentially have to make due without Bellerín. His loss will be hugely beneficial to the Reds’s chances, as Arsenal will then be forced to play Stephan Lichtsteiner in his place.
Jurgen Klopp’s high octane attack can easily cut through this porous back line, creating a multitude of scoring chances.
Hopefully Klopp opts to construct a lineup that will use these Arsenal misfortunes to Liverpool’s advantage. However, this being a top six matchup, Klopp may opt for the more conservative approach and use James Milner as opposed to the more dynamic Xherdan Shaqiri.
Regardless of lineup selection, this will be a game prime for the taking and one they should certainly take three points from.
Manchester City’s dominance demands that Klopp’s men take every possible point that they can achieve.
The ideal lineup for this game would be 4-2-3-1, that Klopp heavily employed for Borussia Dortmund.
A similar formation has been employed in Liverpool’s previous two matches against against both Red Star Belgrade and Cardiff City, which they collectively won by a combination of 8-1. This match will not be as easy, yet being conservative will not win this game or the Premier League in the end.
Arsenal have often been unable to pick up early leads, as they tend to win a vast number of games in the second half. If Liverpool want to secure victory they must start aggressively and remain in that attack oriented style throughout.
Overall, the Reds should be able to win handily, but the best way to do so is be aggressive and attack that beleaguered Arsenal back line. Playing passively can cause that Arsenal attack to keep their team in the game.
