Liverpool take on Wolves on Friday night in the Premier League as they look to extend their winning run after beating Manchester United 3-1 on Sunday.

The newly promoted side have experienced an up and down first season back in the top flight after their promotion from the Championship – but have now won three in a row and are looking good.

Victories against Chelsea, Newcastle United and Huddersfield Town have lifted the midlands outfit to seventh in the league with seven wins and six losses.

They have a good team – largely thanks to the influx of Portuguese talent, but also due to Molineux regulars such as Matt Doherty and Conor Coady having excellent campaigns.

Liverpool will view Friday night’s game as an excellent opportunity to keep their winning run going – which will further pressure Manchester City.

If the Reds can go unbeaten into 2019 it’ll be a massive statement of intent. Newcastle are their last game of the calendar year and while Rafa Benitez has the Magpies well drilled, they should lack the quality to beat Liverpool.

Wolves have conceded 19 goals this campaign, but their defence will be put under serious strain as Jurgen Klopp has engineered a side who’ve scored at least three goals in their last three away games. With that in mind, why wouldn’t you want to watch this game online – for free!

Klopp proved how dangerous his team are at all times of the game with the introduction of Xherdan Shaqiri against United. The Swiss international provided the spark to unlock the Red Devils’ defence as he hit two goals.

Whether they chose to go with the 4-2-3-1 formation of the more tried and tested 4-3-3, Liverpool have got plenty of options to keep things interesting and should beat Wolves on Friday night.
