Liverpool vs Wolves: Smiling predators can’t wait to play ‘enjoyable’ game
Wolves can’t wait to play Liverpool on Friday night as their manager Nuno Espirito Santo praised Jurgen Klopp and his side.
Santo was speaking ahead of his team’s clash against the Reds as the Midlands side host the first fixture in the last round of games before Christmas.
And Sky Sports reported that the Portuguese gaffer spoke about his admiration for Klopp, but there was also a marked lack of fear in his words.
Most managers might look at the unbeaten Reds and think that they’d rather play anyone else, but Santo spoke about how much he’s looking forward to the game and how much having fun with football means to him and the players.

“We know how tough it is going to be, but at the same time we look forward to it because it’s going to be a very enjoyable game,” enthused the boss.
The newly promoted side are currently sitting in seventh place after bouncing back from a rocky period of form. After beating Chelsea 2-1, Wolves have gone on to beat Newcastle United in the last minute and well as Bournemouth.
And that win against the Blues showed Klopp how dangerous the Molineaux outfit can be – and you can be sure that the German won’t be taking three points for granted.
Talking about the former Borussia Dortmund man, Santo was full of praise: “I know him and admire him, I respect him… I think he’s amazing,” concluded the gaffer.
Liverpool are still unbeaten in the Premier League, and despite their opponent’s good start to the season they are still expected to win. With the Magpies on Boxing Day, these two fixtures mark an excellent chance to go into the New Year with that perfect record intact.
Klopp has some decisions to make. Nathaniel Clyne was excellent at right-back against Manchester United, but James Milner is fit again and you have a sneaky feeling the German would prefer Milner to Clyne.
